Mbstring.func_overload = 7

Checking php.ini: mbstring.func_overload = 7: ini_get(‘mbstring.func_overload’)='0’
The mbstring.func_overload = 7 is needed to fully support unicode (utf-8) or other multibyte-charsets.
*** Please make the following change in your php.ini (/usr/local/users/pow/r/a/pow.raleighc/php4/php.ini): mbstring.func_overload = 7
*** AND reload your webserver, so the above changes take effect !!!

I fixed this error without my php.ini file but it still shows up.

I fixed this error without my php.ini file but it still shows up.

1. Did you remove the ‘;’ from the start of the line?

2. Are you sure that php-mbstring is installed?

3. Did you restart your webserver after changing the php.ini file?
