Message send failed: Error connecting to SMTP server

Hi,
after upgrade to 14.2.20141211 I have problem to send message from mail app.
Always got the error "Message send failed: Error connecting to SMTP server"
My SMTP settings are: standard SMTP, SMTP server: localhost, security: no,port: 25.

In mail.log I appear these errors
Dec 19 10:22:51 zebra2 postfix/smtpd[3135]: connect from localhost[::1]
Dec 19 10:22:51 zebra2 postfix/smtpd[3135]: lost connection after UNKNOWN from localhost[::1]
Dec 19 10:22:51 zebra2 postfix/smtpd[3135]: disconnect from localhost[::1]
Dec 19 10:22:51 zebra2 postfix/smtpd[3135]: connect from localhost[::1]
Dec 19 10:22:51 zebra2 postfix/smtpd[3135]: lost connection after UNKNOWN from localhost[::1]
Dec 19 10:22:51 zebra2 postfix/smtpd[3135]: disconnect from localhost[::1]
Dec 19 10:22:51 zebra2 postfix/smtpd[3135]: connect from localhost[::1]

When I tried send anything via Thunderbird mail client with some settings,
everything is sent with no errors.

What was main changes in 14.2. from last 14.1 in connection with SMTP ?
Or any tips where I can do corrections ?

Hmm, 14.2 replaces old phpMailer with Horde_Smtp to be able to mail
large attachments without need of a big memory_limit.

You can set emailadmin_account::SMTP_DEBUG_LOG to a file-name to log
communication with SMTP server.

I enabled SMTP Debugging as suggested, however the file is blank. I verified the pear dependencies in setup. Also I ran pear upgrade to update horde core.

File SMTP.log in /tmp was created, but there
is nothing loged in. Is empty. Do you have any suggestios
how to fix my smtp error?
Or is there possibility to use in 14.2 email client from 14.1?
