New Install Help

Hello E-groupware world,

I am new at this and I have already hit the first wall in setting up
this cool system. I have unpacked E-Groupware 1.2 on my godaddy
shared account which is running in a windows enviroment and has the
following installed:

Operating System
Windows Server 2003
Web Server
IIS 6.0
Web Programming Languages
ASP 3.0
ASP.NET 1.1 or 2.0
PHP 4.3.10
PHP 5
Frontpage 5.0.2.5012

Database Information
MDAC 2.8
Jet DB 4.0.8618.0
MS SQL 2000

When I ran the intalled cycle the system came back with
"eGroupWare now requires PHP 4.1 or greater.
Please contact your System Administrator"

Ok so what do I do, I have the right PHP service running so where is
the error that I need to fix.

I hope to hear back soon.

Darrin,

Are you absolutely sure PHP is enabled? If you do a simple PHP script, and
view it in a browser, does it work? (This is a PHP issue, not eGroupware)

You may also want to recheck the DB too, as I’m not sure how well tested
eGroupware is against MS-SQL. Best to use MySQL, if you have the option.

Thanks for your responce,

I have check and the PHP is working, I can run PHPBB2 with no issues
and we are also running MySQL Databases. Does anyone else have any
ideas?

in setup/inc/function:

Seems taht this test is falling by you ?
Could you write a simple php page to test this …
