As far as I know SCAYT should work when enabled in Global Config
Admin->Siteconfiguration->Enable spellcheck in rich text editor:
By now, there is no way to do that via pref or config. May come up, as more requests drop in on that issue
By now, no there is no way to precheck that by now. I may discuss that issue with the others, if this is wanted

I’ve not pulled trunk down for a while and so far, I’m loving all the
changes!
A few questions about the new Mail:
- Is spell checking working? SCAYT or otherwise?
- Is there a way to disable email preview pane on bottom?
- Is there a way to pre-check the “save as infolog” checkbox on compose
window?
