New templates and styles

Hi,

My client wants to customize EGW interface to his company’s look and feel. I am trying to help him but I have no idea where to start. Is there any docs about this (that I couldn’t find)? Any tips?

Hi Raphael,

I noticed that the templates are store there. But I tried to create a new
dir with another name under phpgwapi/templates hoping that it would appear
in the Template combo in Preferences. Well, it didn’t. We would prefer to
have a new template (as an option) other than to modifiy an existing one. Is
it possible an approach like that?

hi,
best you try to copy an existing one first to learn.
there are different templates like horizontal or vertical - you can test.

to make it appear in preferences, you have to edit
…/phpgwapi/templates/xxxxx/setup/setup.inc.php

and the $globals[…][name] must be same as the filename.
