I’ve 2 questions:
- I’ve installed egroupware 14.1 following the manual on Debian. This
installs the egroupware-epl packages. Is this egroupware version the
community version or the paid version? I can’t find it anywhere in the
software itself.
Both packages are identical and have same name.
EPL just contains additional packages, so this is all right.
- Is it possible to run multiple companies on 1 installation? I’ve read
about the multiple domain function, but can’t find anywhere how to do that.
That’s possible, go to Setup >> Manage header (lower login) and add
further instances.
There are several ways to switch between instances:
a) preferred was: use a different domain / vhost AND use domain-name as
instance name
b) alternative you can switch on a so called domain select box, which
allows to switch
c) append instance name to user name
a) is by far most comfortable and least problematic way, as it is the
only way you have to do nothing as user and you can log into multiple
instances simultaneously.
