News_admin import fails

I keep getting the following error email:

This error occurs every time the Cron job runs for news.

• I am running Ubuntu Linux 16.04.3
• egroupware-epl (17.1.20190402) hardy; urgency=low
• Package installation
• PHP Version 7.2.16-1+ubuntu16.04.1+deb.sury.org+1
• Apache 2.0 Handler
• MySQL

News is not all that important to me, I can just remove the crontab entry.
Any other suggestions?

Seems the DOM extension is not enabled for cli / command-line, run the following:

sudo phpenmod -s ALL dom

Thanks for the quick reply. When I perform the command I get:

WARNING: Module dom ini file doesn’t exist under /etc/php/7.3/mods-available
WARNING: Module dom ini file doesn’t exist under /etc/php/7.3/mods-available

The PHP report states that DOM is installed and php7.2-xml is installed

I am still getting the emails

OH DUH!

reading the last post, I am running phpp 7.3 without 7.3’s xml module. I just ran

sudo apt-get install php7.3-xml

and the phpenmod runs without warnings, and I have seen the last of the error emails.

If they ever appear again I’ll add a post to this thread.
