'non-object'-errors

Hi,

there are several non-object-errors on eGw 1.6rc3, PHP 5.2.6:

a) Clicking on eMail-Client within an non-admin-user, with no specific email-profile:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getIncomingServer() on an non-object in
/html/egroupware_v1-6rc3/felamimail/inc/class.bofelamimail.inc.php
on line 2225

b) Using …/rpc.php with Funambol 0.7-Plugin for Thunderbird, an error occures; looking at the sync-log of funambol, i see:

Fatal error: Call to a member function get_table_definitions() on a non-object in /html/egroupware_v1-6rc3/phpgwapi/inc/horde/Horde/SyncML/State_egw.php on line 352

It seems, there may be a generall problem with PHP 5.2.6?
Such PHP-Error are very basic, i think; what’s the matter there?
Does anyone have experience with these errors?
If someone has a little hint, i may able to fix it.

Seems, that case a) from above has a debug line with the backtrace-function.
if !is_object($this->mailPreferences).
So, do i set wrong mail-preferences or is there anywhere a bug?
With this line, nothing appears after clicking the mail client.

YOU MUST set up at least a default Profile with the emailadmin.
