Dear Forum!

If i create an event from Google and accept from mail module, the accept response status work properly. But when i modify this event in Google calendar and accept it from eGroupware mail, the response status notification is missed.

The notification settings in calendar are set properly (notify external addresses).

Can you help to solve this?

Thank You!

Hi Somogyi.

I mean, this concerns appointments that you have created as an organiser. It should therefore be irrelevant in your described case.

You mean a confirmation of your decision => Google calendar of the organiser?
So when you change an external appointment that already exists in your calendar?

Stefan

Hi!

Yes, the confirmation of my decision with a previously accepted, but modified event -> Google organizer.
The first invitation works as expected.

Only accept an event in eGroupware that was accepted before, but its have a new event update (like time change on Google side). No modification on local side.

Thanks,
Z

Dear @StefanU!

I’ve checked ics files on google side.

The first invitation answer looks like this, which is good:

ATTENDEE;CN="INVITED NAME";ROLE=REQ-PARTICIPANT;PARTSTAT=ACCEPTED;CUTYPE=INDIVIDUAL;RSVP=FALSE;X-EGROUPWARE-UID=22:mailto:XXX@XXX
ORGANIZER;CN="ORGANIZER NAME";X-EGROUPWARE-UID=c3295:mailto:XXX@gmail.com
UID:67m1up58d50j0i6c6rm9t2cp7q@google.com
UID:c4834a69-3fbe-41a7-b3ac-d4de1e7e113b

After modifying appointment start time and accept from eGroupware looks like this:

ATTENDEE;CN="INVITED NAME";ROLE=REQ-PARTICIPANT;PARTSTAT=ACCEPTED;CUTYPE=INDIVIDUAL;RSVP=FALSE;X-EGROUPWARE-UID=22:mailto:XXX@XXX
ATTENDEE;CN="ORGANIZER NAME";ROLE=CHAIR;PARTSTAT=NEEDS-ACTION;CUTYPE=INDIVIDUAL;X-EGROUPWARE-UID=c3295:mailto:XXX@gmail.com
ORGANIZER;CN="ORGANIZER NAME";X-EGROUPWARE-UID=c3295:mailto:XXX@gmail.com
UID:67m1up58d50j0i6c6rm9t2cp7q@google.com
UID:4f232657-ad58-41f2-b208-dba3343dc162

I think the second answer contains the organizer as an attendee also (with chair, but with needs-action), wich is confusing the system.
Also, there are multiple UID is in the answers. I think this UID needs to identify the event.

Does this cause the issues?

Thank You!
