Notification JSON issue @ r34674

I am also having an issue with notifications at this point. I am
suddenly being notified of everything in the DB (even tracker items from
2 years ago). I don’t even have the tracker application ‘installed’.
Also, since there is a problem acknowledging the notifications, every
time I access a new page, I am represented with all the notifications I
had ever asked for all over again.

What’s in the table egw_notificationpopup?
Could be you’re getting all the old notices you missed. That table
can be cleared if there’s a lot.

Does that error happen when clicking OK, or when the popup appears?

Could be you’re getting all the old notices you missed. That table
can be cleared if there’s a lot.

Does that error happen when clicking OK, or when the popup appears?

I cleared out the table and started with nothing (after running through
the 275 previous notifications). The JSON error occurs AFTER clicking
"OK" in the EGW popup – as if it can’t send the acknowledgment back to
the server, so EGW keeps reminding me!

Ack, no Json error message popped up, and the table
egw_notificationpopup was cleared after clicking the ok button, too.
