I found this on the DropBox site "One of our favorite little features is
that when you share a file with someone, you receive an email notification
when the person has actually accessed it. When you’re delivering important
materials and you need to make sure the other party has retrieved them in a
timely manner, this little confirmation is invaluable.
How can I get email verifications that a file has been accessed in
egroupware?
That’s an EPL feature. It is called subscription in EGroupware. You
subscribe (or even subscribe someone else eg. an external worker) to a
file or directory. Then you get an email whenever the file changes.
