As suggested by Mr. Ralf sir, i have deinstalled eGW-1.2 and reinstalled eGW-1.4. Everything goes well, but in AddressBook front i am stuck. In eGW -1.2 we had an option to set Address book in LDAP and SQL depending upon the choice and it was quite easy to do the same. But in eGW-1.4 i am not able to set Address Book to store and use LDAP. I tried to follow phpgwapi/doc/ldap/README, but i am not able to do so. I want to have LDAP as an centralized address book so that every application can easily use it. Earlier with eGW-1.2 i was able to do this quite easily but in the read mode. But for the better synchronisation i decided to go for the eGW-1.4. Now i am giving my basic ldif files for easy debugging. Please help me to overcome this problem. I really want to use this application.
I have made 3 ldif file :-
- base.ldif
dn: dc=corpshield,dc=blr
dc: corpshield
objectClass: top
objectClass: domain
dn: ou=People,dc=corpshield,dc=blr
ou: People
objectClass: top
objectClass: organizationalUnit
I am able to add this file easily to my ldap database.
- group.ldif
dn: cn=bijayant,ou=People,dc=corpshield,dc=blr
objectClass: groupOfNames
objectClass: top
cn: bijayant

gidNumber: 1020
But when i am adding this file then i get the error
ldapadd -f group.ldif -x -D “cn=Manager,dc=corpshield,dc=blr” -W

I havent tried this file yet, because i am not able to add the ou=People
I have included only these schemas in to my slapd.conf:-

I am not able to resolve my problem, please help me out. I want use LDAP for my Address Book only for storing and retrieving the contacts so that evolution,mozilla , outlook and other mail clients can use the same.
