It is not possible for us to continue to maintain the old templates. The investment is out of proportion to the result (only very few use them).
We prefer to invest time (money) in the improvement and maintenance of the delivered templates. This is what we are currently doing intensively in 19.1 (icons, positions, …):
… and so on…
That is very, very much work!
And we would have to do this work again for each template.
You must consider that we still maintain 4 different Templates/Themes today:
- Standard
- compact
- Mobile
- Monochrome
With these templates you can set some things up for yourself: colors, logos, names, login screen, …
That’s all it’s possible to do.
I recommend you to get used to the delivered template. Goes fast 
.
If you have constructive suggestions for changes and improvements you are welcome to discuss them here in the forum ( One topic = one post please)
You can try to install jdots like the old apps:
During a test with me the template does not work.
Or you try a Git installation…
But that doesn’t make you happy in the long run.
