Hallo together!
I am new witch Opensync 0.19.1 (also tried 0.21) and trying to connect via SyncML to the SyncML-Server of eGroupware. Unfortunately I get only the error message:
volk@talidev:~$ msynctool --sync egwfile
Synchronizing group "egwfile"
Error while initializing syncengine: Unable to spawn server
The connection works flawlessly with between Outlook/Funambol, IcalSrv, Kotact and eGW. But now I am biting on granit. I hardly found information on this error message in the web. Someone wrote, that the connection would only work as root. But even when I try to connect as root, but it won´t work. The connection to the SyncML interface worked with other programs without a prob. If i try to connect to another port, msynctool stands still. I don´t think that an other port is configured.
When I am trying to connect as root I get only the message:
The previous synchronization was unclean. Slow-syncing
Member 1 of type file-sync just connected
But even after more then an half hour, I don´t see any results.
° I would like to use a normal log-file or verbose mode for Opensync. I saw something in 0.21 but it was too verbose and didn´t give any hints.
° The apache-logs didn´t show anything.
° The SyncML-logging in eGW doesn´t work.
° Could it be, that Opensync tries to connect via SSL?
Does anyone know what to do?
My Opensync-Connection to eGroupware is this:
