OS/X Addressbook will not add contact

I upgraded Egroupware Community from 1.8.6 to 14.1 on SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP3. All appears to be working fine, except when I add a contact in OS/X 10.9.2 Contacts 8.9(13710, it wil not be added to the EGroupware addressbook,
it worked perfect in version 1.8.6.

Following is the information from the apache2 acess log:

I assume the second line is the error. I have no problems modifying existing contacts.

Hi Horst,

please enable the EGroupware CalDAV-Logfile (full requestst & answers into filesystem) in the CalDAV-Preferences of EGroupware. This will give you an detailed information of what happens between server and client.

Hi Birgit,

I am sorry, but I cannot find how to set the logging of CalDav. Is this in the Web Gui, or do I need to modify a file and where does it logs to?

Hi,

I found in the Web GUI how to set the logging. I have attached the log file with information when I added a contact in the OS/X addressbook. Al other funtions are working such as deleting or modifying a contact using the OS/X addressbook

Hi,

is that your Adressbook or of an different user “Horst”?

Logfile state clearly:

POST /horst/addressbook/ --> “403 Forbidden” took 0.034 s

thats regulary coming if you do not have permission to add an contact.

Hi,

Yes it is my personal Adressbook, and it let me modify and delete existing contacts, but not add a new contact. The contact will be added in the OS/X Addressbook, but not added to the EGroupware Addressbook. It worked before the upgrade from 1.8.007 to 14.1. During the database upgrade are there changes performed which changed permissions on the Addressbook. The Adressbook is kept in MySQL?

I connected to the addressbook using Firefox and checked the Properties and there was a difference between 1.8.and 14.1. In 14.1 there is a new property add-member and this is the one which is failing, maybe it does not pass on the credentials correct.

Hi Birgit,

I did more checking and enabled more php error logging and found 403 and 404 errors returned by the
function _common_get_put_delete($method,&$options,&$id,&$return_no_access=false,$ignore_if_match=false)
in egroupware/phpgwapi/inc/class.groupdav_handler.inc.php. I have attached the php log file.
