PEAR installed & recognized, but PEAR modules not detected (1.8.002.20110811)

Hello.

I am in the process of installing v.1.8.002.20110811.

Even though I have the necessary modules installed (except HTTP_WebDAV_Server thus far), the installation detects that PEAR is installed, but not the PEAR modules e.g. Log, etc.

What might be causing this?

You probably forgot, that you have to install also the egw-pear archive,
if you install from archives and not the recommended way via rpm or deb
packages

The EGroupware is installed on a shared server therefore, it was installed manually. Thanks for letting me know about the egw-pear archive.

====== QUESTION ======
The PEAR modules are now showing that they are installed EXCEPT:
Auth_SASL and
PEAR::XML_Feed_Parser.

I saw the thread http://egroupware.219119.n3.nabble.com/FIXED-Pear-Auth-SASL-and-XML-Feed-Parser-Shared-Web-Server-td324453.html#a324454 but I still need clarity as to solve that issue.

Can you provide clarity so I can resolve this, please?

Hello again.

Solution: Add the following directories and files to the ‘egw-pear’ folder:

Auth dir

• SASL (includes 7 files)
• SASL.php

XML dir

• Feed
  • Parser (includes 12 files)
  • Parser.php
