PHP Fatal error: Class 'vfs_stream_wrapper' not found

Hi all,
I have installed Egroupware comunity version 1.8 with no error. (Apache 2.2 and PHP 5.2.10)

Sometimes wen i use the calendar i recive the 500 internal Server error. In the apache log is registered the following error:
PHP Fatal error: Class ‘vfs_stream_wrapper’ not found in /var/www/egroupware/phpgwapi/inc/class.egw_vfs.inc.php on line 60

The class exist and in 90% of case it works with no problem.

Any suggestion?

Hi,

first time I hear something like failing to autoload an existing class
reported.

Try switching PHP bytecode cache off testwise.

No real idea, but as I never heard people reporting that problem, it’s
most likely related to your enviroment and not EGroupware code.

Although I have only did some prelim research to tthe issue.

it appears

1. the GUI to the mount is only in ELP (unfortunatly our clients are only using sitemanager and not the rest of EGW so an upgrade to epl for the function is not finacially feasable.)
2. When attempting cli.php on one server we get Fatal Error: Class EGW_VFS not found. I will be walking though later.
3. Some of our clients who again just use sitemanager, do not have ssh on thier general shared hosting accounts in order to sucessfully do the mount.

I would like to manually enter the vars into the db or write a small script to do so. 2 of our programmers already put thier tail between thier legs on this issue.

I am hoping to work on it tonight in stead of sleep :-P. Ralf what vars/db colums need to be set in order to do a mount from the top of your head?

I will walk thoguh tonigh but any recolection would greatly be apreciated.
