Thanks, it took me a while to grasp what you meant, but I eventually “got it”. When I go back to the “setup” interface (separate from the “Admin” interface) and look under “Step 5 - Advanced Application Management” I was able to remove “Sitemanager” - and this did the trick. I then got “Translation Tools” as an unwelcome addition - but repeating the trick got rid of that… by removing translation tools. From my perspective, it looks as if this could be described a flaw/bug in the Admin interface… it would seem to be desirable to be able to configure this without having to return to the Setup interface and uninstall applications entirely. Either way, I’ve a workaround that sorts out my immediate problem.
The other glitch that frustrates me relates to email… In “Preferences/Common Preferences/Max matches per page” I’ve changed from 15 to 30 - since I typically use a high resolution display… however, while 30 email headers are fetched, the portion of the page displaying these headers appears to be restricted to the size of the treeview box showing my IMAP folders… requiring me to use a scroll bar to see all 30 headers - only ~23 being visible at once. Is there a way to fix this? Can I either make eGroupware force the size of the page to be such that all 30 headers are displayed without a scroll-bar, or - somehow - increase the size of the block containing the tree-view of my IMAP folders? This is merely a cosmetic grumble - but one which would significantly improve my user experience. It seems daft to be scrolling through my messages in the top half of the webpage when the bottom half remains an ‘unused grey’ colour.
Thanks for solving the “Website” bug - and I hope it doesn’t seem rude to immediately ask about my next gripe… (I got nowhere on the users list with this, either… )
Thanks,
Steve
