Dear developers,
I tried eGroupware 1.6 and 1.8, but I’m having problems when leaving db_host empty in header.inc.php. If I understood correctly, that’s the way to tell eGroupware to use UNIX domain sockets for database connection to postgresql.
But if I do so, the following error occurs when after installing applications and when trying to add a administrative account during setup:
An error happened
SQLSTATE[08006] [7] konnte Hostname »port=5432« nicht in Adresse übersetzen: hostname nor servname provided, or not known
So at some point eGroupware tells posgres soemthing about a hostname…
