Proble: addressbook_contactform in sitemgr - 1.6.002

Hi ,

My Sitemgr handles several domains from one installation.

The sitemgr-site directory copied to the right place and its config file
contains the right path to the egw directory.

Everything working well in general.

But I found a problem with addressook_contactform. If I use the default
contactform on the base website, the visitor can leave a message as
expected. But if the same contactform located in an other domain’s site, the
visitor cannot leave a message, the contacform come back after sending the
message. Seems the form cannot processed.

I have a though, this is caused by the session somehow, because the base
uses a different domain than the alias.

Is this behavior normal or is it a bug? Is that possible to fix it somehow?
It would be very useful to get it work

try as workaround: Why not calling the form in a iframe (and have the form
with the target domain)?

Thank you Klausi, that was my second though I made a customized contact
form and at this moment it seems working well.

Anyway, I try to make a required checkbox: [ ] Accept terms. but I am not
able to mark this checkbox as required. The required value is True.

Could you help me, how to mark a checkbox to required_true or similar?

If you work with a custom field, it should work like seen with the attached
picture.

Hi Again,

I added a checkbox widget to the custom contactform and I modified the
class.addressbook_contactform.inc.php to process the status of the checkbox.

Now I got it working

It is working like this:

If there is a checkbox on the form which name is acceptterms, the value of
the checkbox will be processed, but if the acceptterms is not set, it will
be not processed.

Until now, it seems working.

Oooops, that means, I need to add a customfield to Addressbook and write the
name of the customfield into the name as shown on the picture?

Hmmmm, seems better than my solution

documentation is worth not much.
On second thought, maybe a mandatory on a checkbox will not work at all, as
it is checked or unchecked,
and always has a value.

checkbox the form always submitted.

My plan is to block the submitting, until the user check in the checkbox.

In my case it is necessary to block submitting, so, I use my hack to provide
this function, but now I know, how to store customfields to document other
requests, thank you a lot!

Anyway, I made a small change in the captcha:

If somebody calculates the result, he must +10 to get the good value.
Example:

56-16= [ ] please calculate the result and increase it by ten

With this little modification I eliminated a lot of spams. Probably seems
stupid, but seems working (except somebody do not read the
instruction…).

If you use a selectbox and not an checkbox, you may be able to avoid that
problem.
… maybe you can get the captcha widget get to work. was provided by randy,
… as patch, somewhere.
