You are right the categories are all duplicated and not shown correctly.
About the second problem, I tried to reproduce it but it doesn’t happen for me. Can you please give me a bit more details about the entry that you’re tried to save, like if there are categories or set alarm, etc on them?
Additionally, would you please check your javascript console and the Network tab, when you try to save the entry, to see if there is any AJAX error or request failure?
By the way, appreciate for reporting it. Meanwhile, I will try to see whats happening with calendar category, and will inform you soon.
