I am trying to install egroupware 16.1 on Centos 6 (php version is 5.6.24)
and when I run
yum install egroupware-epl
I get this:

That’s ok, nothing to worry about, you simply have SELinux disabled.

Looks you are not installing but updating an older EGroupware. In that
case you need to also install egroupware-epl-compat package containing
old phpgapi directory which is references in your header.inc.php.
After you updated AND wrote a new header.inc.php (Setup lower login:
Header admin), you can remove the package again.

And all I get in my browser when I point to mydomian/egroupware is a blank
page and thi error in the log:
