Problem mit Syncml und Zeichensatz

Hallo,

ich synce mein Nokia E90 Communicator mit Egroupware.

Sync funktioniert auch.

Aber statt der Sonderzeichen kommt statt ö ein A(Pi) habe kein zeichen
für Pi auf der Tastatur.

Ich habe den Zeichensatz schon voin ISO auf UTF-8 umgestellt.

Was könnte ich noch tun ?

What version (1.4.??? or trunk from ???) and which application
(addressbook, calendar, …) are you talking?

Hillo,

I have the same problem with trunk and a Nokia E61. I think it is broken
since r25343, but I am not sure about that.

At this time I moved my contacts from LDAP to MySql as well, so I
couldn’t identify the breaking point.

BTW: Groupdav is working very well, using the Sogo connector 0.62 from
Inverse, please try keeping both working.

if it’s really r25343, then the Sogo fix makes the problem - thought I
dont think so:

Try reverting it with:
cd egroupware/addressbook/inc
svn merge -r 25343:25342 class.vcaladdressbook.inc.php

And check if that fixes the problem.

To revert to the current version of the file use:
svn revert class.vcaladdressbook.inc.php

If that’s not the problem, I would suspect r25291:

Unfortunately you cant merge that one back, as it gives a conflict.
You have to do it by hand. It’s enought to undo the first block (line
110ff).

to get closer to a solution, can you make the following test:

comment out line 117:

114 if(preg_match(’/([\177-\377])/’,$valueData))
115 {
116 $options[‘CHARSET’] = ‘UTF-8’;
117// $options[‘ENCODING’] = ‘QUOTED-PRINTABLE’;
118 }

to check if that fixes your problem with Nokia.
It will for sure break the communication with SoGO and KDE, but we can
make that behavior (requiring qprint encoding for non-ascii chars)
depending on the device.

that’s fixed now in svn. Only KAddressbook uses now qprint encoding for
non ascii-chars.

The change comes with a huge addressbook commit, changing the names of
almost all addressbook classes to allow autoloading, dont install it
immediately on a production system!
