Problem Netdrive or filemanager (webdav.php)?

Hi, I have a problem when copying and creation of folders / files with accents.
In Windows 7 I have over Netdrive attached disk and create file / folder for example, Šarka, Život, Žena … the first letter does not create it.
It does this on Linux and KDE.
Despite browser is OK.
Do you have some similar experience?

Server running on Ubuntu Server 4.12, the latest version of egroupware, UTF8 encoding.

Hi.
I use Netdrive and it works fine - I can create folders with names
"Čas", “Šipek” or “Želva” (Slovenian words) and see names written ok in
Explorer and in EGW FileManager. And can copy them, too.
I have set up UTF-8 Encoding in Advanced settings in Netdrive for my
site but I don’t remember if it was there by default or if I set it
after installation

Thank you for your reply.
I agree that he’ll create a new folder so it is OK, but when I give a copy to a folder on the server at the moment so will not create the initial letter.
I tried it several times and always the same result. I tried it in the openSUSE KDE Dolphin via webdav / www.domain.com / egroupware / webdav.php / home. Same problem. Once you give the folder or file kpírovat beginners,Ž, Š, Č, and the server is created. Otherwise, I think that everything I nastveno well.
Please if you can try doing it too?

Hi
You’re right - there’s no problem if you create folder on the mounted
drive.
But if you try to copy existing folders /files from f.e. C:\ drive to
mounted drive, the folders /files which begin with ‘special’ letters
will be copied with wrong name - copying will skip these letters.
There’s no problem, if the ‘special’ letter is not at the beginning of
the folder /file name.
F. e.:
problematic names:
Čas
Žur
Šal

non-problematic names:
Kača
Anže
Hiša

Do you have an option to try some other tool (webdav client) on Windows?

working with webdav client? (so one get pop-up or mail when some file is
added /changed /deleted in FM). AFAIK, notification is not working if
you don’t manage files in FM trough browser (or is it?)

If you are talking about EPL, filemanager notifications (subscriptions)
are working independent of using a browser or WebDAV.

Subscriptions is an EPL only feature, sorry.

Hi.
I’m using the latest EPL. I just tried notifications and works like I
wrote above:
if UserA adds a file over browser in folder on which UserB is
subscribed, UserB gets pop-up (or mail, if he’s not logged in).
If UserA adds a file over NetDrive in folder on which UserB is
subscribed, UserB doesn’t get pop-up or mail.
Should something special be set for this to work?
