thats probably a thing with the cookies and domains, and the url/domain of the website.
thats a hard one, no general advice possible here.
But, it may be a simple rights problem.
Logged in as Admin?
Application SiteMgr available?
Are you (or your group) member of the website admins? (Look at Sitemgr->Define Websites)
Are the WebSite ACLs set up correctly?
If all the above is true, its most probably a cookie and domain / session problem.
It may work, if you log out, delete Cache and Cookies, log in and go straight to sitemgr.
Do not have the website opened within the same browser, while you are trying/attempting to edit…
