Problem with the email

Hi Guys,

I need urgent help, I am having problem with the email as emails are not coming into subfolder of egroupwware, my email server is also synchronized with outlook. I got emails in outlook folders but not in egroupware subfolder, plus the folder names are not exactly the same as we have on our server.

Any help would be really appreciated.

it would help if you put hardcopies (Outlook/EGroupware) in here. Then we can better understand your situation.

Do you sync Outlook via ActiveSync or have you created your mailbox as an IMAP account?

We have to start small at this point:
EGroupware-mail is a normal IMAP-E-Mai-Client like Thunderbird.
You create an IMAP mail account for your mailbox there.
EGroupware displays the folders that exist in this mailbox. Nothing more first of all.

Which folders the incoming mails go to is determined by your mail server. Not EGroupware.

email server is also synchronized with outlook.

There ist nothing to Synhcronize with Outlook. Your Outlook display the folder in the Mail-Account.

Is it possible that you get your mail via POP3 from your mailbox with Outlook?

Outlook… Please post hardcopys.

Why are you doing this to yourself with Outlook???

I am really sorry that I am responding really late, actually, I was sick. The folder under the egroupware mail system is not accessible. just have a look into this screenshot.
I am very thankful to you if you give me a better suggestion.

You mean because of the cross-sign?:

Or can you really not access the folders underneath?

yes, I can’t access the emails which are under this folder, there are mutilple emails under this cross sign folder.

Hi Adnan,

That cross-sign could mean your folder is not subscribed too, which may result to not being able to view messages inside the folder. Make sure you are subscribed to that mailbox(folder). You may do that by right-click on folder -> Subscribe folder … menu.
