Problem with the groupdav calendar sync

Hi,

I have trouble with the groupdav calendar sync via evolution and other

eGroupWare Version 1.6.001
server : debian lenny uptodate
groupdav-OK - C groupdav* 1.6 1.6
two domains : default and mydomain

When tried to connect through firefox
(https://myegroupware.com/groupdav.php/calendar) i have a error message
telling me i put the wrong domain
’domain’ != ‘default’

So How could i specify the good domain to groupdav ?

I tried groupdav.php?domain=goodone/calendar, it doesn’t work…

That’s definitely wrong!

http://domain.com/egroupware/groupdav.php/calendar/?domain=something

or better serve your EGroupware instances on different domain names, eg:

http://domainA.com/egroupware/groupdav.php/calendar/

and

http://domainB.com/egroupware/groupdav.php/calendar/

With EGroupware using ‘domainA.com’ and ‘domainB.com’ as instance or
domain name (instead of ‘default’ and ‘mydomain’).

Maybe i’m close to the solution :

I tried with cadaver (a webdav client)
this doesn’t work :
- http://domain.com/egroupware/groupdav.php/calendar/?domain=something
  login ?
  passwd ?
  Authentication required for eGroupWare CalDAV/CardDAV/GroupDAV server:
  bad login or password on server `egroupware.axolys.fr’:

But this is working, and i didn’t see it anyway :
* cadaver http://domain.com/egroupware/groupdav.php/calendar/
or
* cadaver http://domain.com/egroupware/groupdav.php/
login : mylogin@mydomain
password : xxxx
dav:/groupdav.php/calendar/> ls
Listing collection `/groupdav.php/calendar/’: succeeded.

When i tried this with evolution, it shape the url like this :

caldav://myegw.fr/groudav.php/calendar/
user : mylogin@mydomain

became this
caldav://mydomain@mydomai@mydoma@mydom@mydo@myd@my@m@@egroupware.axolys.fr/groudav.php/calendar/
user : mylogin

So is there another solution to specify the domain ?
The best solution should be :
caldav://myegw.fr/groudav.php/MYDOMAIN/calendar/
thus you could only connect to groudav.php/MYDOMAIN/ with a domain user
and you could connect to groudav.php with a head admin account.
1. I tried different ways with ?domain= but none seems to work…

Interesting. I have the calendar working quite well with Evolution. There is no domain parameter in either Evolution or the egroupware calendar app, and I don’t think you should need it.

Therefore I suspect this is tied into the authentication process you are using. Are you using AD to authenticate? Try going to http://yoursite/egroupware/setup/config.php and changing the authentication setup you are using. I’m using LDAP myself. of course you need another server running LDAP for that to work. TRY using SQL, or standard mail (if you have a mail server running).

Well this time it is working

All i had to do was to change the order of my virtual domain by adding mine as first in header.php !

know i use caldav in evolution by adding :

caldav://domain.com/egroupware/groupdav.php/calendar(/)
|
don’t know if the following / is optional or not _|

And just with my login (caldav for evolution doesn’t like user@domain )

For the first time caldav stay connected!!!

So i can add meetings, but i can’t see them!!!
