Hi everyone,
we shortly started out with Egroupware, particularly because of the Project Manager tool. However, I now face a problem, I can’s solve on my own.
I want a setup where every user can see which projects exist, but may not see further information about the project. All elements and other information shall be reserved for the users assigned to the project. I solved this by putting the project access rights to “annonymous public” (I dont know what it says in English there, in German the line in the dropdown list says “annonym öffentlich” and it is placed between “public” and “private”). Now everybody sees the project, but when trying to access the Element list, access is denied. So far so good.
However, if a user accesses the file manager for the project manager app “/apps/projectmanager”, the user can see AND ACCESS all project folders for all projects that are not put to “private”. All elements of a project are accessible through the project folder. Hence, every user has easy access to information about all projects. But they are not ment to see this information.
Does anybody have an idea, how to solve this issue? (You cannot deny access to an apps folder, I already tried that)
Many thanks in advance,
Jakob
