Hi Klaus!

Reason is most probably the greaterthat and lowerthan signs AND the
existance of SCRIPT (in description) between them.
if you replace them by (Their HTML “representations”, you should be able to
add the text.
It is “better” not. Only the text between the gt and lt signs is removed
instead of the complete text.
In my opinion, the entry should either be treated as plain text:
- not removing any code
- Always be shown as plain text (i.e. also on the sitemgr module and the
mails)
- Convert the texts if required for HTML mails.
or always be treated as HTML:
- Always use the RTF editor; always store and display HTML.
- Always remove code not htmlified.
Else, in either representation, the texts will not stay readable /
changeable.
At least, there should be a mechanism to throw an error if the field is
stored blank instead of storing the empty entry.
Another anoying problem is my unability to upload PHP file patches to the
tracker. I always need to zip the files before upload or it will save an
empty file - without giving an error message. Can you please try to fix
this for the public tracker?
Thanks a lot,
Hans-Jürgen
