1. print selected contacts
2. send an email to selected contacts

i post here a zip file with the following :

1. index.tpl to replace the addressbook/templetes/default one
2. new print.tpl to put in the same place
3. class.uiaddressbook.inc.php to replace the addressbook/inc one

I’ve just downloaded your .zip

this could be used in production or could be “dangerous”

I need a funcionality to assign one or several addessbook records to another owner (to have a secretary to create and assign contacts to several departments)

I have no idea of php.

I have made a bash script to make this changes
this script asumes the contacts and the users are in LDAP
This script verify the users and that there is data to change, and is well documented

if i send you a documented bash script you can adapt it to work like your print selected?

or tell me what lines to replace or to look at to insert my code?

it will be great a reassign selected contacts, then ask the destination user, and pass the data to my script or do the same job in php.

I was looking for information regarding addressbook printing functionality, and discovered your answer to cbattarel message.
Have you still got elements like templates and class.uiaddressbook.inc.php file ?
I would like to create printing functionality in addressbook, and I need some help!
