Hi,
yes I mean syncing. Special Chars are no problem within eGroupware
alone, but the Problem with syncing is that your device e.g. uses
utf-8 while you have iso-something in eGW.
My experience is that are no more problems in eGW with special chars
and umlauts when using utf-8, so have a try !
The steps I wrote down above can all be made in eGW-Setup
"./egroupware/setup/index.php" -> then log in to above
form (not the header admin). Here you will find all the menus you
need to convert to utf-8.
!! Be careful. First make a backup of your eGW before you uninstall
all your apps !!
!! Be aware that you loose some eGW Preferences when migrating
(thatÂŽs a bug at the moment). You can fix your settings by applying
my script from following thread:
