I have a nextmatch showing orders. Each order has some action buttons
(ship, invoice, cancel) that are enabled or readonly based on status
and permissions.
If the user doesn’t have permission, the button is disabled, and not
displayed.
If the user has permission, and the action can be done, the button is
enabled.
If the action cannot be done (already shipped, not in stock so can’t
ship), is it possible to have a third state that is disabled but could
show the reason?
I know I can provide a ro_image to show disabled, but this will
display the action as disabled to those with no permission.
I could use a second button for this case, with the disabled image,
and set it to readonly unless the third state, but how would I best
set the reason to be displayed?

Extra punctuation??? Ug!!!
Just say no! Punctuation marks do not gain significance if you
increase their number, they make you look silly. One is sufficient.
