Registration Module and Email

Hello everyone,

I know everyone is busy with 1.6 RC 1 but I’m struggling for a solution. I’ve tried to reverse engineer Felamimail account registration but can’t see the trees through the forest. Is the registration module going to be updated to include e-mail auto registration and can someone please give me a time frame?

If you use Accounts stored in LDAP together with a cyrus IMAP server
then you may/should be able to achieve such functionality.
Otherwise, you may work with scripts, that scan accounts, and create
eMail accounts on creation/validation of eGroupware accounts.
You need to be in control of your eMail Server for the creation of
eMail-Accounts

Hello everyone,

I’m going to host eGroupWare for general public and business use. While businesses will manage their own user’s the general public will register online and I need egroupware to create an e-mail account when the user verifies their account. For whatever reason the auto registration code is commented as follows:

I tried to uncomment the code but that didn’t work.
