While this may seem like a good idea, it causes the test messages to be
unnecessarily queued and stuck retrying.

I know, but I have not yet implemented a better way to check this AND
target of wizard is to really make sure user entered a working setup.
I could use an existing address eg. discard@egroupware.org …
