Hi, Nathan.

I found an error when create the report purchase_order in app pERP_ap. I think the error is located in file .odt.

I observed that the errors happened in every line contains a structure how [[order.order_id]_line.supplier_stock_code;noerr], in others words, when have a [ ] under [ ].

What I can to do for end this error?
Can you help me?

What’s the error, and how does it manifest itself?

Nested tags are replaced in order, so for PO 10, first it becomes:
[10_line.supplier_stock_code;noerr]
then
123-BK

Exactly,

by some reason, the Nested tags do not is being replaced correctly. In report is displayed exactly [10_line.supplier_stock_code;noerr].

In other words, only the tag inside is replaced.

Where is the error?

I don’t know.
In perp_ap/inc/report/class.purchase_order.inc.php on line 93 there’s
a debug line. Un-comment it, run the report again and you should get
the raw data in your browser. Send me that. I suspect that the
supplier stock code is missing somehow.

Thank you for attaching the report. It looks like something has been
damaged in your report template.
In the PNG under the Supplier Code column you can see
"block=table:tArray", which is not the right code. This might not be
the cause of your problem, but it doesn’t help. Please make sure
perp_ap/inc/report/en/purchase_order.odt is the latest from SVN, and
that you do not have a local customization in
perp_ap/inc/report/default/.

since it would be a binary file to SVN it could have been damaged on check out, I’d delete the file and do an svn up in that dir to make sure it’s fresh.

I deleted the file purchase_orders.odt and I used the svn and it updated the file correctly but the error continue happening.

I downloaded the file manualy from site (perp - Revision 4272: /trunk/perp_ap/inc/report/en) and the error continue happening.

I believe what do not is problem of the update.

That is what it seems to indicate.
I think that somewhere, something is sticking that ‘Array’ in there.
I can’t imagine what, where, or why though. It’s not a place where
there should be output. Could you send me (direct) the resulting odf?
Maybe there’s more information inside.

I did a new test. I did the same procedure in other instance of the pERP, and report was set incorrectly again. The new report displayed the same errors.

Do you think the errors are being caused for a bug in the system or for something in the data?

I did new tests. And I think the problem is in nested tags.
In test, I edited the file purchase_order.odt, changing the line:

[[order.order_id]_line;block=table:table-row][[order.order_id]_line.supplier_stock_code;noerr]

by

[1_line;block=table:table-row][1_line.supplier_stock_code;noerr]

displayed in report created before.

With this new purchase_order.odt , the report created, showed no error in line

[1_line;block=table:table-row][1_line.supplier_stock_code;noerr]

In other words, I think the problem is in nested tags. seems that system only replaces tags one time.

Yes and no.
That is happening, but I think that is a symptom of something else,
not a cause.
On other systems, nested tags are correctly handled.
I notice that you have special characters in your data. This has
caused problems for some, but nobody has been able to run it down, and
I have never had trouble with them. You might try one with no special
characters (addresses too), and see if it changes anything for you.
