Related to my previous post, I am trying to set up a restricted account that can view the calendar of a resource, but not BOOK the resource.
I have been able to get the opposite effect, where the account can book the resource, but not view the calendar.
I have gone into the access control for resources, and assigned the user “read” and “read calendar” for that resource category, and they are not part of a group that has write permissions, but they can still book the resource, which is what I am trying to prevent. The best I can get is the user can see the resource, and get details, but cannot view calendar or book the resource.
Likely I am blind to an easy solution, but I have spent hours on this already…ideas are welcome
