Roundcube for egroupware

is anyone interested (or developing) roundcube (http://roundcube.net) integration for egroupware?

I’ve got a pretty functional package using the latest trunk (trunk-2071) from roundcube working.

it loads roundcube in an iframe, but I’ve changed roudcube a little and made a proper class for egroupware to make it all work together.

if anyone is interested in a copy, let me know and I’ll get it packaged… right now it’s still in the early stages (but fully functional), but I’d be happy to share

Lots of advantages over Felimail : it’s a very good, safe and very good looking solution !

I’m using openLDAP for address books the egroupware way, so I don’t really have to integrate it for my purposes as roundcube will let you tap in to LDAP using the same schema

I would say check out their roundcube’s demo to see for youself… everything is just a little more “desktop” like… my clients like the preview pane, and it’s generally faster for them

here’s what I have so far roundcube.tar.gz (1.63 MB)

check out the README… neither the egroupware or the roundcube installer will do a 100%, so I’ve tried to detail how to get it in there

are you using PHP cookies for egroupware?

the auto login depends on setting the session to be the same in roundcube (which are stored in its own DB) as in egroupware (which are stored in files on the file system)

Not as such out of the box.
But you may implement that yourself.
Its probably not that hard, supposing you know how roundcube is handling mail.
