I assume you are on trunk? Recent checkout?
This happens when?/ What are you trying to do when this happens?
It looks, that the function recure2string is called not with an event, but
with a boolean.
most probably false (this is, when you try to read an event via ui or uid
and get nothing back)

Deleted user , re-created user , problem gone away

having problem with caldav syncs still

Using the egw web calendar in Task list for some users.

yes using truck checkout this last week , tried R29484 (and then
reverted to R29471 I think)

still occuring…
users seem to have synced with Funambol Outlook 8.0.5 , thunderbird +
Lightning users not effected (caldav)

calendar appears empty in other views then blank screen in browseer
and this message.
as I said ( before reading this message ) that deleting and recreating
the user seems to fix this.
