S/MIME - upload certificate

Hi,
I tried to upload certificate (for digital signing) in “mail account” field “Encryption” for a user. But with no success.
I tried it under user rights and also admin rights. But always the same result. There is two strange things. At first, after clicking on “choose file” it let me choose and save any file I picked. No matter what password I enter. Should not be there any control whether it is really certificate file ? The second thing is, that after I click on “apply” I can not see the file I had chosen in previous step. I am not sure if I do it right way. But I hope so. And also I do not know if I should not create any new special mail account. In access.log file is only long line with this “id=smimeKeyUpload” in the end. Nothing wrong in error.log. Can you give me any hint what should I try to get it work ?

Hi Luboš,

Regarding the first issue, we do have an extension restriction but for some reason it’s not working, I need to debug to see what’s wrong with it.
After you upload your s/mime .pfx or .p12 file and apply, there you should see to buttons one for exporting the certificate and another to delete the certificate.

I will let you know as soon as I fixed the extension issue.

Hi Hadi,
If I understand the problem is just with verification of certificate. So I should see buttons (for export and delete) after uploading and apply right now. I saw it the same way in this video https://www.egroupware.org/en/egroupware-support/webinars/verschlusselung-mit-smime-ab-egroupware-version-17-1/ . But it do not work for me for some reason. I can not see any buttons. The form remains the same as before.

Could be there any problems with access rights or any settings in mail account ?
