Hi all,
try to logon from safari on ipad from wlan, not can pass to de home page,
log shows good login, but is no possible to work.
On nexus one web browser i can login and see home page, but always come back
to the login page when i click over any link in the page, this only on 3G
connection, IT WORKS fine over wifi.
Sounds like your IP is changing, when using the 3G connection, eg.
because of a transparent proxy farm.
This can be switched off under “Admin >> Site configuration”. That’s of
cause less secure, as the session is no longer bound on an IP.

A little more detail: This doesn’t happen when a user with a Mac
connects over our LAN, but only when connecting over the web and having
to come through our firewall. One user reports just being taken back to
the log in page with no error shown while others report a blank page
being displayed. In all cases the access log reports a successful log in.
I’ll try tweaking the firewall settings and see if there is any change.

I can NOT reproduce that, just loged in from my MacBook to an 1.8
installation using Safari.

Hi all,
Users who log in from an apple device, presumably using safari browse,
will see the log in page, but after loging in see nothing. Checking the
logs it shows they have logged in succesfully. Any idea wht is going on?
Or better how to fix t?
We are using EGW 1.8 on a Centos5 server.
