Save/List/Print Tickets in Tracking System

Good Afternoon All,
I want to save and print all tickets assigned to a user. Below are the steps I’m taking.

First off, I’m on v1.4.004.

1. I select the ‘Tracking System’ icon.
2. Under ‘Assigned To’, I select the user.
3. I select the ‘File Download’ icon from the upper-right corner.
4. I save the file as a CSV file on my computer.
5. When I view the file, it’s not readable. I’m attaching the file for your review.

Is there a way to save this file to send it as a report?

The attached file is a readable CSV file with UTF-8 encoding.
Perhaps you were expecting something different, or used the wrong encoding?

Yes, the file can be read, but let me ask you this: Would you submit that CSV file as is? What if the file contained over one-hundred rows? How would anybody make sense of the file? I was expecting the file to be formatted by columns, not one big column.

If you’re saying I’m using the wrong encoding, then where do I make the change?

It’s a CSV file, meant to move data around between different programs.

There are many different ways of changing the data into a report that
can be sent out. The easiest is to import the file into a spreadsheet
program. The good ones will open it directly, and auto-detect the
correct settings.
