Saving Custom Fields

Hi,

I created custom fields for my application, I studied how the data being saved to egw_config and egw_addressbook_extras but I can’t locate the code from the admin.customfields.edit. Anyway my reference to my app was an addressbook application.

And another concern is how the data can be populated.

Any help would be great.

Try in egroupware/admin/inc/class.customfields.inc.php.

You use the custom fields widget in your eTemplate.
Study other apps (timesheet is fairly simple) to find out specifics.

It’s best if you use/extend so_sql_cf as part of your app’s storage,
as it really takes care of a lot of it for you.
