Hi there,

How to send email via code in egw with html tags but without any egw notifications?
Any help will be appreciated.

$send = new send();
$send->setFrom(‘some@email.com’, ‘Some Name’);
$semd->MsgHTML($msg);
$send->send();

Look at the phpmailer class in phpgwapi/inc for more options, eg. to set
a text alternativ.

Hi Ralf,

Thanks for the quick response. I have already the code for sending email with notifications but there is an error on the ajax part.
How to get rid of this error?
Below is the screenshot for reference of the said error.

Please advise.

if you do not want to use notifications, you should use ralfs example.
If you use notifications, you may run into several dependencies.
The screenshot of your error is not very specific. It just states that something went wrong
on the get_notifications part.
My guess is:
This could happen if you use notifications and have popup enabled for the user you
are notifying. This way, notification tries to put the notification into the popup queue
to be processed.
Try using notification->set_skip_backends(array(‘popup’)); before calling notification->send();

log while the client fetches the notification from the server
