This was strange. I have 2 egw installs (at separate sites - separate IPs)
Earlier, I accessed admin setting on one install which triggered submission of a
statistics report. Next, I accessed the other install at a second site to
reorder the applications icons as a result of the 1.8.002 -> 1.8.004 update.
When I accessed the admin settings on the 2nd site, that also triggered the
submission of a statistics report. However, when I clicked submit, I received an
error message from https://www.egroupware.org/usage-statistic stating:
Usage Statistics
Error:
This IP address ‘66.76.63.120’ already submitted a report! --> report ignored
It’s the clients (your browsers) IP address, which get’s checked.
Obviously, since the sites are completely separate, the usage statistics
should have been allowed from both installs. But, it appears when both sites are
accessed from the same computer (in different browser tabs), the statistics app
rejects the second submission by incorrectly flagging the client IP as the
server IP.
Again, this isn’t a big issue, but one I thought you might want to look at.

We could probably use a combination for server and client IP for the
check, thought I dont have time to look into that at the moment.
