Sitemgr + joomla 1.5 templates -> problems

Dear All,

I dowloaded several templates from different joomla sites, for joomla 1.5.

Some of them seems working out of box, but others are not. Better templates
of course not

So, I found that, this caused by missing functions (classess) like
JModuleHelper, JError etc.

These are missing (unsupported?). I tried to solve it by download joomla 1.5
and find/insert missing classess into the template, but this seems more
tweaking.

Before I jump into the deep water, I would like to ask, does anybody run
into the same problem and how one solved it, if possible?
