I suppose you can use your mailserver specified below to send mails using
other mail clients.
This way you are able to assure, that your SMTP Server is able to talk to
the world outside?!
The Mail Server login type should have no effect on the smtp settings.
Have you tried to configure an individual eMail Account yet, using the
settings below?
(Use Manage Accounts and Identities in FeLaMi Mail for that)
If you want to use the settings in emailadmin for eGroupware wide SMTP
settings,
usually your SMTP Server has either to accept all messages handed to him, or
has
to know the user and password of your accounts configured with egroupware
(or the
other way round - egroupware Accounts must match the accounts known to the
Mail Server).
You are able to use on authenticating user for all of your egroupware
accounts, if your
SMTP Server does not check the sender. If it does check the sender
information, you have
to specify the sender information too.
