This was an old problem and is solved since the 1.8. The only open thing
is that once, you have enabled sogo, you can not add a new CalDAV
Account. In that case, please deactivate the sogo while creating the new
account. After creating you can activate the sogo again und it works
fine. The Sogo team in looking after that problem, because it is not a
problem of EGroupware.

Hi!
I’m using egroupware 1.8 to sync thunderbird 3.1.6 / lightning 1.0b2.104i.
For this reason I installed sogo-connector 3.104 as a add-on. With this I’m
able to sync my address book without any issue. A while ago I read about the
problem that sogo-connector blocks lightning (sync with caldav), i.e one
could not create new appointments in lightning under the new calender. One
should be able to create a new appointment on egroupware and sync so
