Hi
I’m trying to migrate eGW 1.4 from SQL to LDAP.
On the old server I have all in one (Apache 2 + MySQL 4 + mail server
(Postfix + Courier))
New setting is on Server_A Apache + mail and on Server_B MySQL ans LDAP
(Fedora DS) on Server_C.
I copied MySQL db to new server.
In eGW I set
"Select which type of authentication you are using:"
and
"Select where you want to store/retrieve user accounts:"
both to LDAP.
Ican authenticate and add new users.
What I miss are data in these modules:
- news
- addressbook
- knowledgbase
- calendar
- infolog
- mydms
- filemanager
(hm, a lot in fact - I didn’t realize this until I wrote it down
My first question is where in LDAP/LDAP setting these data are (for each
module)?
As I understand, for mydms, knowledgbase, filemanager, and news files
are in /egroupware (my setting on the old server)
and data for
addressbook, calendar and infolog are in SQL.
Is it possible to have usernames/passwords and addressbook in LDAP and
all other in SQL+filesystem? Is this LDAP/SQL setting then? Or what does
LDAP/SQL setting mean?
What is the proposed setting?
Thanks in advance
