Sync broken after upgrade to 1.8001 from 1.6

I was using funambol 8.7.2 with outlook 2007 to sync with my egroupware account. After the upgrade from 1.6 to 1.8001 Funambol quit working and gives the error “Can’t access your account” . I tried caldav on a mac and my iphone and it says it is a bad password. I tried the synthesis client from an ipad and same result.

typing http://server/rpc.php works and the access log shows success for the funambol and caldav attempts.

Anybody have any ideas.

The server is centOS 4.8 with httpd 2.2

Syncml and groupdav needs to be enabled for each account. once that happened it works.
