SyncML 1.2?

Hello,

I installed the latest version (1.6.pre1-12.1) to CentOS 5 by using RPMs.

Everything works perfectly and I really interested to start using EGW to our groupware suite.

But… I have not managed to make synchronization to mobile work. My mobile (SonyEricsson P990i) can do only SyncML 1.2. And I believe many other mobiles have this “limitation” because only a few of recent mobile devices supoort both SyncML 1.2 and SyncML 1.1.

And now the question. Does EGW have support for SyncML 1.2? I did not find answer to this after Googling - checking wiki and forum.

In Apaches error log is message:

[Sun Aug 17 19:10:44 2008] [error] [client 88.194.237.240] EGWSYNC: [] SyncML: No DTD found for -//SYNCML//DTD SyncML 1.2//EN/0 [on line 62 of “/usr/share/egroupware/phpgwapi/inc/horde/Horde/RPC/syncml_wbxml.php”]

I’m sorry if this is was FAQ stuff. Links and anything else is still welcome

You interpreted the error-message correct: eGroupware does NOT yet
support SyncML 1.2. Patric - the SyncML developer of the project - is
working on it, but he has not given any timeline.
